OUTDOOR educational activities are being offered to children in Warwickshire this coming semester (October 24-30).
The county’s country parks will invite children to explore historic green spaces, learn how to build a wooded den, and cozy up by the campfire for fall snacks.
Children can also try their hand at fishing by attending Ryton Young Angling sessions at Ryton Pools Country Park.
Saturday 29th October sees the return of the Old Warty Halloween Family Fun Night to Ryton Pools National Park for the first time since 2019. Children will meet Old Warty the witch and her friends for family scares and activities fun, as well as a scary train ride.
Councilor Heather Timms, spokesperson for Warwickshire County Council for the Environment, Climate and Culture, said: ‘Our rangers work tirelessly to provide a fantastic range of engaging and entertaining activities for children throughout throughout the year, and this mid-term October program promises to offer both fun and scares.
