Lagos leisure parks will excite revelers

Operators of some Lagos State amusement parks have expressed their desire to excite revelers this Easter.

They spoke to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in separate talks on Wednesday in Lagos.

Raymond Atimah, Business Developer, Shodex Gardens and Park, said there would be a special program for young people and adults, labeled “Easter Bunny”.

Mr Atimah said the park’s recreational facilities had been prepared for revelers to explore within four days of the Easter celebration.

NAN reports that the federal government had declared April 15 and April 18 holidays for the celebration of Easter.

“We are ready to welcome revelers during the Easter season. We designed “Easter Bunny” with football and table tennis competitions between adults while children should enjoy a talent hunt.

“The talent hunt includes singing, dancing, acting and make-up competitions. In addition, we want partygoers to come and enjoy the beauty of the landscapes, the vegetation and the horticultural endowments adapted to our health.

“We have a mini-zoo with animals like crocodiles, 36-year-old turtles, baboons, tortoises, etc.

“Art lovers can also come and discover our museum, which is full of contemporary art,” he said.

Michael Kossi of Apapa Amusement Park said no special program had been designed for the park’s Easter celebration, but would open it during the season.

Mr Kossi said around 40 indoor play equipment and 20 outdoor games that revelers could explore with as little as N200 per person.

“The park is open to everyone for the Easter season, and we have over 60 play facilities for revelers to experience. These are all modern facilities.

“We have the 7D cinema game, bumper cars, pirate ships, air bikes, happy stitching, coin-operated rides, 24-seat disco rides, space jets and more,” he said. he declares.

Unlimited fun

Additionally, Sunday Essien, director of the New Afrika Shrine, said he had created a unique program for revelers at the shrine, called “New Afrika Shrine Easter Weekend Special”.

Mr Essien said the program would see Nigerian artists like 2baba Idibia, Rema and the Cavemen perform to the excitement of revelers at the shrine from April 15-17.

According to him, music lovers who cannot visit the shrine can also watch from the comfort of their own homes by subscribing to the Afrika Shrine TV.

“For April 15 we will have Rema on stage, on the 16th we will have 2baba Idibia exciting visitors and on the 17th the Cavemen will be available.

“It will be an exciting experience for everyone,” he said.
